Why Not Just Eat Better?

With the spiraling costs of medication, and doctor visits, and health care in general, why don't we take a long hard look at what most agree could drastically cut the costs we are paying to repair ourselves.

It's called, "stop killing ourselves".

Right, no seriously, our bodies are being forced to process foods that they not only were not created to process, but they do not even have the mechanisms in place to process all this junk.

So, when the body does not know what to do with it, or cannot assimilate what we feed it, into the cells, it has to tuck it away into adipose fat tissue, and so it accumulates, with no end in sight.

The worst thing about all the reserves we are building up, is that they actually retard or worse, tie up the processes that should be dedicated to handle the real food we do give our bodies.  Eventually, we do so much harm as to be unable to repair the damage, and so we begin to die in large numbers, way before our times.

The best food we can eat, and we all hear it a lot, is organic, living uncooked foods.  Close to those are plant foods that have been cooked briefly, or made into soups.  Tea is always a good additive, as long as it does not have too many additives, but is brewed from any of the hundreds of natural plants and herbs that are good for the body.

The less junk we have in our bodies, the more our bodies will be able to rid themselves of that which is inadvertently taken in.

So in the the words of a recent Bob Newhart 5 minute comedy video, ... Stop IT!

And look to cleansing for an additional way of ridding the body of the toxic sludge that has built up over time.  Treat yourself to a growing body of excellent organic foods available at every turn.  It may at first seem expensive, but the price comparison against the foods we have been eating, should include the costs of fixing the mess that have been part of that picture for so long.  Then it might not seem so expensive to eat better.
