I was disappointed that while I dipped below 200 for one day, my weight still climbed back as high as 206 during the following week, actually two weeks now, since I did not cleanse last Tues Weds.
Fortunately however, my new eating habits seem to have kept me more in the low end of that range for most of the last two weeks, so it at least seems that I have dropped below the 210 plateau and once I cleanse again these next two weeks should be able to drop well into the 190s.
Holly and I have begun shopping for more raw and wholesome foods we can incorporate into smoothies to augment the progress we are making with the Isagenix cleanse and shake program. Diets can have quicker effects on the weight, but are usually short-lived because they are not true lifestyle changes, and often the benefits are reversed because people get back into their old patterns of eating.
I am set on a new path and Holly and I are getting ever closer to being 80% raw fruit and vegetable, or lightly cooked to preserve the nutrients, and a lot less meats. There are a lot of ways to get the full complement of proteins our bodies need, and one way is the Whey protein shakes I get one or two of each day I am not cleansing. Not only does it have a full array of amino acids but many of the enzymes necessary to help digest its components, including lactase for the whey protein which is much better for muscle building than soy protein.
I may do another entry for tomorrow as I weigh in for another couple of weeks of Tues Weds cleansing. This morning I was at 202 which is exciting because I have not done anything for the last two weeks except work at eating better. This morning I am eating some figs we got from Trader Joes during our healthy shopping spree over the weekend.
